Maintenance

Checked your brake fluid

EVs use brakes less, but brake fluid still absorbs moisture and degrades. Check every 2 years.

Because regen braking does most of the stopping, your brake pads last forever — but the fluid doesn't. Moisture contamination lowers the boiling point, which matters in the one emergency stop you need. Test strips ($5) or a service center check take 5 minutes. Flush costs $100-150 and buys peace of mind.
