Most utilities have TOU (Time of Use) plans where off-peak electricity is $0.05-0.10/kWh vs $0.30+ peak. Schedule charging for midnight-6am and your monthly fuel cost drops to $20-40. Some utilities even have dedicated EV meters — separate from your house.
